Established in 2019, GIBEH is a non-profit, youth led organisation promoting the right to health and further providing and advocating for the need of basic education to the girl-child in consideration of vulnerable orphans, girls infected or affected by HIV/AIDs, people living with disabilities and extremely financially need girls. The Organisation is enthusiastic about breaking the barriers affecting education especially girl child education and ensuring that all girls are afforded the basic educational needs to enable them thrive through the challenging society. This is done mainly through service delivery to vulnerable families that cannot afford basic education for their children. GIBEH strives to support and promote human rights for these vulnerable groups in Uganda in order to achieve an equal and just society. GIBEH contributes to mustering education, health and other human rights through evidence-based advocacy, service delivery, use of the law, policy engagements with communities and key stakeholders that inform our interventions at national level.
